Your Personal Wedding Jewellery Stylist
Years ago, a friend showed me a bracelet, which she had purchased, from a woman who made jewellery in her home. I loved the bracelet so much that I attempted to make one for myself. I found that I really enjoyed making jewellery and started making pieces, here and there, to give as gifts to friends.
It was not until my maternity leave that I discovered how much I benefited from creating jewellery. After my family was fast asleep, I stayed up late, into the night, creating whatever came to mind. They often say a woman's creative side flourishes after a baby. It’s true, but it also becomes more of a personal respite; time to relax and unwind. After several months, as you can imagine, I had a lot of jewellery. That was the beginning of Caris Weir Designs.
One of my favourite colors is white and what represents white more than a bride. I absolutely love creating pieces with the bride in mind. As mentioned, friends were often the recipients of my pieces and one of my greatest honours was when my dear friend Selene wore the bracelet, I had made for her, during her wedding. That delight is what inspires my creations today.
Your wedding day is one of life’s most memorable events. One of my greatest pleasures is to be able to contribute to your experience.
